Mike Schlosser is a Toronto-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His production career started in 2008 with Curtis “Talwst” Santiago’s “Have Mercy Mixtape”. The mixtape was downloaded over 50,000 times and the buzz resulted in nine SXSW showcase invitations for the artist. In 2018, Schlosser’s work on IAMHILL’s “Give It A Rest” album was nominated for a JUNO award for Electronic Album of the Year. His work has also been recognized by the West Coast Music Awards and the Canadian Songwriters Association. He has produced albums for “the Iranian godfather of indie rock” and a Polish pop icon. The Cyzon song, “Shockwaves”, that he co-wrote with her was broadcast live on Polish TV to over two million viewers.
Schlosser is the owner of Little Noise Records where he has produced and co-written songs for artists that he has been developing such as John Orpheus and Kendal Thompson. He has also been working on new releases for a number of independent artists including Edmonton rapper Arlo Maverick, Toronto pop singer AARYS, a new IAMHILL track featuring Zeale of Blackillac as well as new tracks for upcoming releases by John Orpheus and Kendal Thompson.
Recent singles Schlosser produced and co-wrote with London-based artist Chloe Kay, Let Me In and Fall Into U, have been receiving airplay on BBC radio in the UK. Utilizing a production style that combines his love of different genres, Schlosser is about being authentic and allowing artists to be the best versions of themselves.
