Odario released his second solo single, Hot Hot Heat, on Friday, July 24th through Do Right Music. Odario ventures into the infectious world of classic dance music with the help of vocalist Kamilah Apong (of Toronto live disco band Tush) and producer/songwriter Todor Kobakov (composer for the TV series Cardinal and films such as Born To Blue). Hot Hot Heat blends house music, hip-hop, beat poetry and jazz into one massive ball of fire and uptempo groove. Odario gets back to regular business with fancy poetics over saucy steelpan samples and heavy bass tones. Hot Hot Heat reflects a time in one’s life when the art of dancing (and dance music) can be instrumental in one’s freedom of expression. Odario & Kamilah take command of a blazing hot stage on this track… a fire they intentionally lit.

Ghost Caravan will be performing at the Horseshoe Tavern on Monday, September 9th for the 4th annual IndieCan Entertainment TIFF Party. The show is free and the group will be onstage at 9:30 PM.
Wu Assassins, a new Netflix series, started broadcasting on August 8th and features the Grand Analog track, Quiet Life, in its first episode. The show follows a warrior chosen as the latest and last Wu Assassin who must search for the powers of an ancient triad and restore balance in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Thanks to music supervisor Natasha Duprey for choosing Grand Analog’s song and for being a longtime fan of the group’s music.
