UK Press for Martha and the Muffins’ Mark Gane
Mark Gane discusses how he wrote Echo Beach in the UK’s Songwriting Magazine. The song has hit 30 million streams worldwide on Spotify, was a top 10 international hit and won a JUNO for Single of the Year. It has had cultural impact as well. There is a venue in Toronto called Echo Beach, a German record label, a UK television series, an Irish show jumping horse, an American surf film, hotels in Bali and Zanzibar and an Australian youth hostel.
